Groups in the European Parliament

There are 8 groups in the European Parliament. Parties from every EU country co-create groups with similar political values. Thanks to this grouping, it is easier to understand the approximate values of a given party before diving into its detailed scores. Groups have their own colors, and those colors are used for bars and charts of parties that belong to them.

A group of left-wing and far-left parties. It includes social democratic, socialist, and also communist parties.

A group of center-right parties. It mainly includes liberal-conservative and Christian-democratic parties.

A group of right-wing parties. It mainly includes national-conservative parties.
